Muyeez – Standard

The record gives Muyeez room to consider the road behind his current success, bringing personal history into a project often driven by youthful confidence, ambition and the belief that bigger achievements remain within reach.

Larrylanes again forms part of the album’s wider creative foundation, helping establish the mixture of Afrobeat, soul and electronic reference points that shapes All Hail Muyeez.

What gives “Standard” its weight is the contrast between where Muyeez started and how quickly things changed after “Instagram”. The song brings perspective to the bravado elsewhere on the project by acknowledging the development behind his present position.
