In real life, a girl named Cheng Man Yi, who is dissatisfied with reality and passionate about fantasies, gets injured and faints while performing a brave act. She dreams of becoming the female lead in the comic The World’s Top Talent and meets “The World’s Top Scholar,” Wen Chen Yu. The “illiterate” girl pretends to be a talented woman and enters into a “contract marriage” with the top scholar. Their differing eras and personalities lead to many amusing situations.
Through suspicion, testing, trust, and love, they face various trials and eventually become a couple. Cheng Man Yi vows to become the top city inspector of the Great Feng dynasty, assembling a team with her relatives and friends—Prince Feng Qi Wang, Cui Jun, Wen Chen Wei, and others—to build a successful enterprise and combat evil forces.
