Some teachers at Benkum Senior High School (SHS) in the Eastern Region have been accused of having sexual intercourse with some students.
A sex video of the sexual escapade between a student and one of the teachers has already leaked and is causing tension in the otherwise calm environment of the school.
The case has been reported to the Akropong Police Command and investigation is ongoing.
The Akuapem North District and the Eastern Regional Education Office has set up a Committee to investigate the matter, resulting in the cessation of payment of the salary of the English teacher, one of the teachers involved.
When contacted, one of the teachers allegedly involved, Isaac Bannie, denied any involvement. He said he was just not a friend but family of the student.
At the Education office and the Police command, officials confirmed the scandal.
The headmaster of the school, Mr. Nyarkoh, revealed that they are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, the English teacher, Emmanuel Darkoh Mensah, is said to have apologized to the authorities for the scandal. Now, he is worried about threats to kill him over the incident.
